Race Overview

Come join us for the first open-water triathlon of the 2024 race season hosted by the Halifax Triathlon Club in beautiful Porters Lake, Nova Scotia.  This will be a chip-timed sprint distance triathlon.

The 750m swim is an in-water start, in a triangle formation within in the bay off Kinap beach.  Leaving transition, cyclists will travel through a relatively flat first 8km along Porters Lake, upon turning east you will see peekaboo views of the Atlantic ocean prior to and during your climb on the Three Fathom Harbour Loop before circling back on the same route for approximately 22.5km total ride.  The 5km run will be in the quiet residential subdivision of the Kinap Athletic Club.

Age group awards will be based on each grouping.

This race will count towards the Triathlon Nova Scotia Points Series.
